Cool waterfalls
Aug 2019
There are few waterfalls there, and it takes around 40min to reach the biggest two of them. It's really a great view. Worth a visit.

Exciting place
Jun 2019 • Family
We took cable train to reach Hrebienok, then took a green trail(about 10 min hike) and reached this beautiful waterfall first on this trail. Interesting to see, children were excited and not difficult to climb.

Short hike - suitable for all ages - nice waterfall
Jun 2019 • Family
From the top station this waterfall is just 20-30 minutes walk, gently sloping down (on the way there), and not too rocky or difficult. Normal sports shoes will be fine, a little bit of extra hiking equipment will make it a tad easier. Main thing: even small kids can walk there or be carried on their parents' shoulders without the latter having to fear stumbling anywhere. The waterfall itself is a natural beauty, so if you are into such places, this is definitely worth a visit. People on the way - not too many of them, but neither will you feel lonely, are very friendly, too. A really pleasant experience for all 6 of us.

Nice but not spectacular
Nov 2018 • Family
The path is mostly easy to go but at some points, when the stones start, can be a bit difficult for people with knee problems to walk. The views are nice, but more because of the mountains, the waterfalls are not very particular.

stunning view

I really would be interested in how it might be when more water is pouring down the waterfall.
So impressive sight and I drink cool touching the water.

A nice hike
Aug 2018 • Family
A well maintained trail takes you for a short hike to the waterfalls. 30 minutes from the Hrebienok station. Not difficult with children and pleasant rain or shine.

Short hike - suitable for small kids
Jul 2018 • Family
Was there several times, but for now first time with kids. Hike itself was fine, little bit longer than 20 minutes from Hrebienok, but small kids can't go so fast. Only some showers should break this hike, but no problem at all. On the other side, there not that much people around. We enjoyed it before the flood so we can try the new bridge over the waterfalls.

Wonderful place to visit just a short walk from Stary Smokovec
Jun 2018 • Couples
This place is worth a visit even at a rainy day. The waterfall is just 30 minutes from the top station of the funicular. On your way jump in for a drink to the legendary place; Bilikova Chata

Simply amazing ice-blue water falls
May 2018 • Couples
Simply go there and see them yourself. The entire trail trip is not that long, about one to one and half hour, depending on which dead-end viewing platform trails are undertaken, which are the lowest and the highest parts of these water falls. Rainer’s shelter chalet and its sweet sweet refreshment bar is 10 minutes away. But beware, it closes by 15:30 (3:30 PM).

Long set of waterfalls
Aug 2016 • Family
Vodopady Studeneho potoka, or Cold Water Waterfalls, are a long set of waterfalls, formed just below the place where Small and Great Cold Valleys join their forces. The water falls down on three major thresholds, enriched by a number of small ones. All those waterfalls are rather small in height, not exceeding 13 meters, but they are very wide, splitting into many small creeks, cutting off a large parts of forests. All together they got 1,5 km in lenght, and from bottom to top they are: Dlhý vodopád (Long Waterfall), Veľký vodopád (Great Waterfall), Skrytý vodopád (Hidden Waterfall), and Malý vodopád (Small Waterfall). Some guides include another two waterfalls into the group, but most often the Obrovsky and Troisty are on their own. It is one of the oldest known and visited attractions in Tatra mountains, very popular right to this day, with thousands of people sitting on the edges, or even having a swimm during hot days. Easy access from Stary Smokovec, where you can take a rack railway to Hrebienok, from where there's only about 30 minutes walk. The waterfalls and nearby Rainerova Chata are a major junction for colour marked trails in this part of Tatra Mountains.
