Aquacity swim and wellness

Very clean and tidy aqua park. Service was excellent. Specifically Michaela and Jane were outstanding, they’re positive attitudes and desire to make an individuals experience magnificent was most honoured.

A pleasant place worth a visit
Aug 2020
Interesting and fun place. The complex is large and offers a variety of swimming pools, slides and jacuzzis. Everyone will find something for himself.
For me, the best attraction is the sauna area - "Fire & Water" and each time I buy a more expensive ticket including this package. You have to remember that you can only enter there once, but you can be there as long as you like until it closes.
If someone buys an admission ticket for the whole day, it is actually worth being there as long as possible - I was 9 hours and and I have the impression that it is not enough :)

LASER SHOW - The show was nicely done technically and visually. But I didn't like the music repertoire. They were full of sorrow and overly sentimental love songs - they do not fit this place at all - a place full of joy, relax and fun.
In another city I saw a similar water spectacle with lasers, but the repertoire was much happier and more fun, such as "Smoth Criminal", where Michael Jackson performed his famous "Moon Walk".

Nothing special
Aug 2020 • Family
Not bad but to enjoy water fun it's better to go to Tatralandia which is 50 km from Poprad. We wanted to enjoy especially various slides but the offer is poor mostly for small children. So for teenagers and adults it's just like any other swimming pool.

Overadvertised gloomy place, small, too croudy, lot of corridors
Jan 2020
Old, warn down, gloomy and crowded place with lot of corridors. The 50 m swimming pool and almost empty for those who like swimming. External, thermal pools (water temperature around 30C and 36C) are very crowded any time of day. Steam sauna (only one there) about 3 square meters is fully packed (I have counted 15 persons there – most of them standing due to lack of space). There are about 3 slides for kids, few Jacuzzi places, pools for infants and small children (those ones are good equipped for having fun for kids under 12). There are some restaurants with reasonable choice of food for those who wish to stay there big part of day. Actually, only families with children under 12 would find this place worth staying for longer time and paying such high entrance price. All others, please consider Tatralania!
You need to have your own towels with you (they don’t provide any)

Nice way to spend half a day
Dec 2019
Entrance not cheap. There are 2 tickets on offer, 3 hours or all day. Three people family ticket is €58, but if you book online one day in advance, you save €8 and pay only €50. Unfortunately, we didn't plan to visit aquapark, so no savings for us. My daughter enjoyed the water slides while my husband and I were relaxing in 38°C outdoor pool. We would stay longer, but unfortunately on Christmas day, they closed at 3.30 pm.

Horrible experience - not worth the money
Jan 2020 • Family
Just visited the place, extremely huge crowd, and very expensive compared to the number of pools.
Worst policy with wellness area: you can enter only once during the whole time, and you are charged 13 euros! Nice saunas but once I came out to check the children, I couldnt go back even I paid for it! No information given in advance!
Dirty changing area. Ridiculous hair dryers, adult women standing up on the chairs to reach them.
Not worth the money at all, really sad experience.

Worth a visit
Dec 2019 • Family
The experience overall was very good.
2 adults and 2 kids (aged 2 and 4 a half years old) we had a lot of fun, smiling, swimming.
I have to say te facility is really massive and I believe would be full swing in Summer only.
We really enjoyed the Sapphire big indoor pool, the external hot water pool, the slides and the children playroom with enough games and space for their creativity.
To improve: at restaurant the experience was very bad. We bought restaurant voucher on line and the casher could not retrieve them because did not have the bar code reader. With not a nice tone she told us we should redeem at the main cash desk. But nobody told us about this. What I am trying to say is that kindness, supportiveness, customer orientation should be always the main focus of this workers dealing with customers.
Other than that a great day

The department store of Aqua Pools and wellness clinics
May 2019
While there is no dearth of spa resorts and wellness clinics in Slovakia, the best place to experience holistic spa culture is Poprad, the gateway to the High Tatras. In the heart of the city lies AquaCity complex, powered entirely by geothermal water and solar energy. Not just visitors from neighbouring countries travel to Poprad to pamper themselves with a stay here, but every year the Manchester United junior team spends a month here rejuvenating themselves from a hectic football season. From the queen of London to the legends of football such as Messi, Ronaldo; all have stayed here.

The complex has dozens of thermal pools, both indoor and outdoor, an Olympic size swimming pool and performance areas. Studded with over ten different kinds of saunas and steam rooms, each room in the Sauna Zone offers something unique - herbal saunas fused with floral aromatherapy, infrared chromotherapy with colourful lights changing now and then for rhythmic healing, salt sauna filled with the goodness of Himalayan salts and minerals, Finnish dry sauna with Viking fire, the ceremonial sauna with fire and water show and many more. There is even a cold sauna to provide a contrast to the heat and give a massive boost to your body recovery. All of these steam rooms and saunas are connected by a system of interconnected pools and private jacuzzis. There is even a waterfall shower that throws a mighty cascade of water down your shoulders and back better than any massage!

The worst experience ever!
Oct 2019
I visited only wellness part of Aquacity and it was terrible. Crowdy, slippery, noisy, without any "sauna culture", people talking in saunas and relax zones, which were awful and cold. We tried sauna ceremony and it was the worst ending of our experience. Stano, the ceremony guy, had some antirelaxing rap/disco music and all the ceremony wasnt so professional like in another wellness places. Never ever! The price 30 Euros is waste of your money!
