About
Piarist Church is the largest Baroque building in Nitra. The Piarist order is known as an order of pious schools came to Nitra in 1698 with the aim to educate and teach poor children. Three years later laid the foundation stone of the monastery. Piarist monastery built in stages in conjunction with the construction of the Baroque church of Saint Ladislav.

There are many churches in Nitra ... one can't visit them all, but I definitely recommend you to visit this one. I has amazingly peaceful atmosphere.

The church is located around 500mtrs away from the city centre , just behind a hotel. Looks beautiful in the evening.

The position of this church at the top of the city centre makes it city dominant. Nice architecture, good acoustics and frequent music concerts (predominantly choral and organ) makes it attractive for visitors and concert lovers. A little bit morbid, dark and too catholic interior influences a little bit depressively, but anyways this place is worth of visit.
