Nice location, burgers and beer

A very nice location in a former industrial area. The burgers were tasty and the beer was great.

first of all, the service is slowly and you feel as nobody for them. We waited more then 8 minutes to be served at the table, when restaurant was almost empty. Stuff was just talking to each other and ignoring guests. Have ordered gulash and beer and some lemonide. Beer wasnt served in the right way and food was ok, what made us surprised how much they asked for it. For me, not worth for visit.

It's a kind of cultural centre I really love - old revitalised industrial building with many separate or linked areas, offering different opportunities and cultural content. Concert space, cinema, few galleries, co-working space and single offices, several cafes and dining areas (indoor and in the yard)... Very nice from many perspectives, and even the concert of the bend "God is an Astronaut" (which I've accidentally seen) wasn't bad at all. The only thing which really needs improvement is restaurant's menu as it is very limited and partial.

Great and inspiring place

There is no place like Tabacka kn Kosice. At least 600 events a year: concerts, theatre, cinema, gallery... but also wonderfull restaurant and bar with local beers as well as pilsner from a tank. If you come to Kosice, you must visit Tabacka. A place of culture

Nice big place covering a lot of different things like drinks, food, exibitions, movie nights, a lot of interesting workshops and parties.
The best place for young people in Kosice.

Nice place for cultural events, food and coworking

The place is a aprt of former tobacco factory and now is used for music concerts, events for kids and adults, restaurant and beer brewery, coworking space and offices for creative industries.

Alternative and off-the -beaten track , good experience

I had a burger here and it was one of the best burgers I ever had. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was sympathetic and calm. Go here for lunch and sit on the terrace. visit also the beerbar.

Cool coffee place with food

Iam visiting Košice on a regular basis to work with our developers. From those visits I got used to going to Tabacka, because its so nice and relaxing.

It is not a regular restaurant nor a regular coffee. It is more of a nice place with good coffee and good food in a repurposed factory building. You can lay down in a comfortable chair, have a drink with friends or work on your notebook.

Regarding the food, it is not a high class restaurant, but for the price its good. I really appreciate two things. First the chef is experimenting, its not a boring food. Second he actually does a mixture of old recipies in modern approach. For example french fries with cheese and bacon and bryndza sauce (traditional slovak cheese). While I dont eat bryndza I love the approach.

I have been there multiple times during day and I highly recommend. It is clean, the toilets are clean and the service is very friendly (and the girls nice). No idea about nightlife though.

Highly recommend visiting.

Firsta class food - innovation, tasty, great armosphere

Tabacka is not a typical restaurant, it is unformal and not fancy place. The menu is awesome, usually I recommend to try quesadilla, burger or seasonal soups. Good & nice stuff, quite weird arrangement, but everything is really cool.

After reconstruction very smart and full of life center with cafe, culture, production staff. You can meet there every person from art and culture scene. Inside very nice anyway.
