A delightful fountain and sculpture in the park. We came across it on way to the river after visiting the blue church. Don’t miss blue church.

This fountain is so called because of the sculptures that adorn the centre. The fountain is circular and in the centre is an assemblage of rocks like an outcrop. At various points of the structure are sculptures of ducks with wings spread and spewing water from their mouths into the fountain. At the centre of the rocks is a small child trying to grab a duck at the very top of the outcrop.

The fountain is nice, but sadly well off the tourist circuit. I only passed by because I was visiting the Blue Church.

Located just off the majestic River Danube and by the awesome Starý Most ( Old Bridge ) you will find Shafariks Square,an area with some grand buildings on all sides and a great place to enjoy this architecture and relax is a pretty little park with some benches in were you will find The Ducks Fountain.
In a city with some amazing fountains such as Ganymede's Fountain, World's Fountain, Maximillian's Fountain,The Duck Fountain is in my opinion the prettiest.
The detail and sheer animation of the sculpures are superb and it's such a wonderful relaxing area to just chill out on.
The fountain makes for some great photographic opportunities and is most definitely well worth checking out.
Easy to get to,a short walk from the Old Town or jump tram number 1 to stop Šafárikovo Námestie which drops you off practically at this fountain.
Well worth a visit.

This smallish fountain ( wasn't working when we visited ) stands in a tranquil park to the east of the old town close to St Elizabeth's Church, the blue church. It's well worth seeing as it depicts three small children teasing the ducks. It's really good detailing and a splendid, yet different, fountain to add to Bratislava's collection.

The street art in Bratislava is very good. There are a lot of statues, fountains with statues. This is not far from the Blue Church in a little park, another good photo spot.

In a city with some cute and curious statues such as Cumil,Napoleon's Soldier that offers great little photographic opportunities The Ducks Fountain fits in perfectly with the eclectic tourist attraction that this city offers.
The three children teasing the Ducks is a beautiful piece of sculpting and is located in a tranquil little park area that is just a joy to visit.
This fountain fits in perfectly with the other fountains that are well worth looking at such as Ganymede Fountain,Maximilian's Fountain and the World's Fountain and offer fabulous photographic opportunities.
Very easy to locate in the Old Town, you will find this fountain on Safarikovo Namesti.
Well worth checking out.

Stumbled across the fountain, whilst walking back from the Blue Church, which is located nearby, in a small park, acctually only a block behind the church. dont know if it has a name. Also there is a water feature there.
Also some free toilets, but hold your breath....

The Duck`s fountain surrounded by green trees is located in a park. There are also three naked boys shown as teasing the ducks.Sculptor Robert Kuhmayer harks back to a local legend that says that the boys were turned in to stones due to the curse of the Water Spirit for disobeying him by misbehaving & not following his instructions. The sculptor exhibits an eye for detail & shows good workmanship.
