I always like to go to the tourist information bureaus to get a local map and some pamphlets on places to visit. I always like to use these to make collages of memories as well. The place didn't have to much in the way to give out but the staff serving behind the counter were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

This is a very good tourist information office from were you can buy the Bratislava Card which includes public transport ticket and also free or discounted prices to attractions. All the office staff are very helpful and give you information about the city.

This is what I saw August 4: Two young ladies behind the counter paying careful attention to their PC and not to visitors. It seems they were more interested in checking their mails, reading digital newspapers, etc instead of being ready to assist visitors. Only a third lady giving information and maps. People wandering around looking for brochures, maps etc on their own. This is not what I expect from a public tourist information centre. Please train your staff accordingly!

After reaching Bratislava, first point of contact is visitor information centre. We reached from Prague by train. We visited the information centre at the bratislava central station and the two ladies at the counter were so rude and obnoxious. Made us wait for over 10 mins as both the ladies were serving one customer who was buying stuff. One lady could have served us but didn’t bother and made us feel unwelcome and did not even speak English! Why would you keep people who can’t even guide tourists?? First impression is the last impression and if you can not welcome visitors to your country with a smile it’s not worth visiting this place!!! Horrible experience and they were evidently racist as totally ignored us n busy selling stuff to local person who was kind enough to point us to different counter and these two ladies were rude they even shut the person up in the local language! Their body language and behaviour were the worst we have encountered in this part of Europe!!

Dear Sir,
I am afraid that the office you visited at Hlavná stanica Central Railway Station is the information centre of the Slovak Rail Company (Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko) that is not operated by us. Their employees sell various train tickets and inform on train timetables. They also sell souvenirs and the Bratislava CARD as our official contractual partner.
Our TIC rents just one desk on the furthermost corner of this centre. It is visually marked as a tourist information centre by all possible means and so is separated from the rest of the desks at the first glance. Our TIC only provides information and do not sell any products. Furthermore, in our TIC, just one employee is always present and all our staff speaks several languages (min. 2) and, of course, fluent English is essential.
Nevertheless, people still do confound them.
As none of the ladies you mention belong to our staff, we cannot neither comment their behaviour in any way nor take any measures or precautions.

We went to the Tourist information booth near the Opera House. The young man there Lukas was incredibly informative about the town without his help we would probably not had visited as many places as we did. He was so helpful and friendly we felt we had made a friend in Bratislava .

This reviews the official Bratislava Tourist Office in the main train station. As you exit the train platform area, look to your left, for the "i" on the directional signs. Go down the hallway on the left and the tourist info office is immediately on the right. They have excellent city maps in English, and the staff is friendly, helpful and fluent in English. They gave directions to all the high points to see, and how to get there via the good tran system. It was a very hot day, and the tourist office had nice cool air conditioning.

A very interesting experience - we walked in, asked for some advice about the main sites to see in Bratislava. The response: “Here is a map. You can see on here.” Unfortunately, the lady behind the desk was not the greatest help! 🤦🏻♀️

I went to Bratislava with a group of friends to visit the Christmas markets and had a great time! It's a wonderful city to relax in and enjoy some yummy food. Unfortunately, during one evening in the market, my wallet was stolen. I figured I would never see it again and considered it a complete loss until I received an email from the Bratislava Tourist Board two weeks later! They said they found my wallet and even mailed it back to me in Spain! I am so grateful for their generosity and dedication to serving tourists!
