Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As other reviewers have said, this is another square with another statue. Mind you, this one features a statue that is fairly ornate and grand. It is worth stopping by to admire the detailed work. I suggest grabbing an ice cream and a bench and studying it for a bit.

The Holy Trinity Column is a religious column dedicated to the Christian Holy Trinity, a popular subject and theme for a monument in Czech Republic and Slovakia for celebrating the end of the Plague. Every city in this region seems to have one and Bratislava is no exception. The depiction of the Trinity is fairly standard, with a central column topped with the Holy Trinity. At the base of the column are sculptures of saints, the one unusual thing is that there are two two more sculptures of saints separate from the central column. There’s also a low wall enclosing the column
The column can be found on the western edge of Bratislava Old Town, close to the end of Hviezdoslavovo Square. Take a look if in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to see it.

At one end of Hviezdoslavovo námestie and close to the walkway leading to the UFO Observation Deck, you’ll find Holy Trinity Column, another of Bratislava’s many monuments and statues. Certainly eye-catching, it is a tribute to the conclusion of a plague wreaking trouble throughout Bratislava many, many years ago. Worth a photograph for sure.

For many year's i used to be fascinated by these column's dotted throughout Europe without even realising that a lot of these column's were monument's to plague death's.
This column at the end of one of the most beautiful square's in Bratislava is really stunning
The detail in the sculpting is amazing and with the gold inlay's look's amazing glinting in the sunshine.
We were sat in Mood's Café looking out onto the column and it is amazing how many people were taking photo's of the landmark site.
THE HOLY TRINITY COLUMN is really easy to locate in the breathtakingly beautiful square HVIEZDOSLAVOVO NAMESTIE heading toward's the castle and bridge.
Well worth a visit.

This column is located on the west end of the Hviezdoslavovo Namestie near the New Bridge. Nice photo spot towards the west where the Bratislava Castle forms the background.
