Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Every square has a monument. This one, the Holy Trinity Column, is impressive, It commemorates the end of the plague. At the base, there are skulls in the little cupola. A plaque provides more information about the event.

It was the first we saw when we got off the bus that comes from Vienna. Nice to see but nothing special.

Holy Trinity Column is situated at the end of the long Hviezdoslavovo nameste and close to St.Martin's cathedral. A classic example of Central European religious symbolism, exquisite and influential.

The Holy Trinity Column is a religious column dedicated to the Christian Holy Trinity, a popular subject and theme for a monument in Czech Republic and Slovakia for celebrating the end of the Plague. Every city in this region seems to have one and Bratislava is no exception. The depiction of the Trinity is fairly standard, with a central column topped with the Holy Trinity. At the base of the column are sculptures of saints, the one unusual thing is that there are two two more sculptures of saints separate from the central column. There’s also a low wall enclosing the column

The column can be found on the western edge of Bratislava Old Town, close to the end of Hviezdoslavovo Square. Take a look if in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to see it.

Like other monuments in Bratislava this one is eye catching if you are going towards UFO deck from old town. It is worth to stop by it for a little while. This column is known for the end of plague in Bratislava.

One of several similar columns in the general area, this is a memorial to those who had died from the plague and a thanks for those who were spared. Interesting to call to mind the devastation caused by the plague

A statuary group that surrounds a column with a statue on the top. A beautiful monument without anything out of the ordinary, however. Very close to the cathedral. Not a must-see in my opinion but it worth a short stop if it’s on your way.

At one end of Hviezdoslavovo námestie and close to the walkway leading to the UFO Observation Deck, you’ll find Holy Trinity Column, another of Bratislava’s many monuments and statues. Certainly eye-catching, it is a tribute to the conclusion of a plague wreaking trouble throughout Bratislava many, many years ago. Worth a photograph for sure.

This is in memory of the plaque victims by the survivors. A good place to visit and take photos. There are cafes around.

At the end of the Hviezdoslavovo Námestie square and near St. Martin's cathedral you'll find this intricately detailed column. The statues really are amazing and you must take the time to look at them all in detail. The holy trinity column marks the spot where the bodies (of those who died from the Plague), were burnt outside the city gates to prevent the disease from spreading.
