A cute little place with old automobiles, nice old Škoda models. Nothing crazy, but if you like this kind of thing, it is not far from the center.

Easy to get to, by the main railway station, and with its own parking by the front door. It was better than I expected with an interesting mix of vehicles and other transport memorabilia, tidy and well-put together. And it just cost a few Euros for the family. There was also a small children's area though that part was closed at present because of the virus.

It would have been interesting to have been able to get on a historic train on the tracks outside, but perhaps that will be possible also in future.

Decided to pay this museum a visit as we had an afternoon to spare and it was close by. Definitely worth the visit! Loads of old cars and other bits and pieces, but the best part was definitely the trains. Never seen anything like that before and absolutely loved the experience! You get to walk through the old train cars and could even enjoy your lunch in the restaurant car. There's not much English so there wasn't much to read if you don't speak Slovakian, but this didn't make the experience any worse. The tickets were 2€/person for students so definitely worth the money.

We stumbled upon this transportation museum while scouting out the walk to the train station. It is well worth a visit even if you are not a huge car fan. There are many interesting vehicles and even though there is not much English, you can still enjoy looking. It is chilly there in the winter, but you will still enjoy your visit.

This museum is located up near the main train station. The ladies selling entrance tickets have very little English and most of the exhibits only have information in Slovak. Google translate helped . If you want to take photos you need to pay an extra 2 euros . It is in an old station and is unseated so wrap up warm if its freezing outside . That said it is a good museum with road rail and ship sections . Best was the car and motorbike sections which had a good selection of iron curtain vehicles and a surprising number of Indian motorbikes .

There were two special exhibitions , one a room of curios and one an exhibition in bakerlite both of which had English descriptions and were surprisingly interesting

There was no cafe when we visited and we popped rounded to the station for a coffee and to get warm afterwards

A somewhat neglected museum of transport, this little gem has an excellent selection of mainly cars and motorbikes to see. The building was the original railway station of Bratislava and the few diesels that are on display utilize the original tracks. In fact, over the webbing fence are current Slovakian trains on standby. Don't miss the furthest back section that contains many models of ships. The entry fee is very reasonable too.
Take time to visit the modern railway station just around the corner. It is a very busy station and many different types of train can be seen.

We visited the Transport Museum whilst in Bratislava and were allowed in free because we were pensioners. They had railway, car and shipping displays and some preserved steam engines on the sidings outside. However apart from the shipping display (models etc.) none of the other exhibits had any English information. But as entry was free we couldn't complain and enjoyed some 90 minutes.

Been there in Advent 2018th.A little bit hard to find for first timer in Bratislava but worth to try.Paid extra cost entrance to film.It is a cool retro place with beautiful cars, motorcycles and locomotives all in vintage style.Just love it cause it is showing a one part of history of Eastern Europe. It was a great thing to see Wartburg,Skoda,Lada, Trabant and all other forgoten cars.

When you like cars, trains or trams, do not hesitate, very nice, interesting and not too big. And it is not far from the old town.
