Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very good museum. Outside was raining and inside was very cold. Only this should be adjusted. Everything else was excellent.

We walked here, and had a great visit. There is so much to see, for a relatively small museum. Really interesting, some unusual vehicles, we haven't seen before.

Amazing experience, all thanks to an enthusiastic docent!
Modest but interesting collection for a transportation museum. The docent, a retired sailor, gave us an impromptu and engaging tour of the museum. Highlight of our visit to Bratislava!

The Transport Museum is only a 15-20min walk from the old town and very easy to find.
It only cost 7€ per adult and an extra €1 for the privilege of taking photos.
There's some very interesting vehicles and memorabilia on display both inside and outside.
The only thing that was missing was any type of steam train, there was just a couple of electric and diesel locomotives outside and a large area fences off, this was a shame as these old communist style steam engines are amazing!
If you like your transport and motor vehicle history then it's well worth a visit but will only take up a couple of hours of your day.

A cute little place with old automobiles, nice old Škoda models. Nothing crazy, but if you like this kind of thing, it is not far from the center.

Easy to get to, by the main railway station, and with its own parking by the front door. It was better than I expected with an interesting mix of vehicles and other transport memorabilia, tidy and well-put together. And it just cost a few Euros for the family. There was also a small children's area though that part was closed at present because of the virus.
It would have been interesting to have been able to get on a historic train on the tracks outside, but perhaps that will be possible also in future.

Decided to pay this museum a visit as we had an afternoon to spare and it was close by. Definitely worth the visit! Loads of old cars and other bits and pieces, but the best part was definitely the trains. Never seen anything like that before and absolutely loved the experience! You get to walk through the old train cars and could even enjoy your lunch in the restaurant car. There's not much English so there wasn't much to read if you don't speak Slovakian, but this didn't make the experience any worse. The tickets were 2€/person for students so definitely worth the money.

We stumbled upon this transportation museum while scouting out the walk to the train station. It is well worth a visit even if you are not a huge car fan. There are many interesting vehicles and even though there is not much English, you can still enjoy looking. It is chilly there in the winter, but you will still enjoy your visit.

This museum is located up near the main train station. The ladies selling entrance tickets have very little English and most of the exhibits only have information in Slovak. Google translate helped . If you want to take photos you need to pay an extra 2 euros . It is in an old station and is unseated so wrap up warm if its freezing outside . That said it is a good museum with road rail and ship sections . Best was the car and motorbike sections which had a good selection of iron curtain vehicles and a surprising number of Indian motorbikes .
There were two special exhibitions , one a room of curios and one an exhibition in bakerlite both of which had English descriptions and were surprisingly interesting
There was no cafe when we visited and we popped rounded to the station for a coffee and to get warm afterwards
