This is the heart of the old town section. It is also where you will find the most souvenir shops. In the passageway underneath the tower you will find a sign post with the distances to many major cities listed.

Michalska is host to many cafes, bars and gift shops. The main attraction is the tower itself which acts as gateway between the old town and the newer areas. It is possible to climb the tower for panoramic views. The many alleys which lead off from Michalska Ulica offer an array of architectural delights

This was the first place we came to as we entered the old town which was a great starting point for our walk through its narrow and interesting streets. In this street there are plenty of places to eat and drink and some interesting shops.

Main street which will take on sightseeing tour starting from Michael's gate down to statues of Schoni Naci and Cumil , all the way to St. Martins church where you should start heading back. Here you will find something to eat and drink, not so much shopping.

The tower is the oldest parts of Bratislava. Under the tower is a metal plate showing distances to other towns.

Iconic tower and street to begin exploration of old town. The side streets are even more charming, very narrow. Some nice shops and cafe.

Great to explore the Street and Tower on foot, while walking around the various streets and alleyways in this beautiful Historic Centre.
