Tickets for this were bought at the Pharmacy round the corner. Which in itself is well worth a visit as it is full of bottles, jars, cabinets and drawers that once contained pharmaceuticals. The tower itself has been very tastefully renovated in a simple style. There are several sets of wide, wooden staircases to climb to the top. Easily manageable by most people. The views at the top from the viewing platform outside are well worth the climb.

The tower is historic, picturesque, and well-renovated. It's definitely worth seeing and walking through. I really recommend going up the tower, you can buy tickets at a good price at the pharmacy a bit further up the street and the view of the old town, castle, and chapel is really nice. The tower also has lots of information and artefacts all to do with the tower's history which was interesting to see and read about. You definitely get your money's worth and it was just a nice overall experience.

During a walking tour of Bratislava, my husband and I had an opportunity to visit Michael’s Gate and Tower. A great photographic delight with lots of history. You can’t miss it because it is one of the main entrances to the city Old Town. Michael’s Gate is the only city gate that has been preserved of the medieval fortifications and ranks among the oldest town buildings. It is located on the top of the Michalska Street, a very busy tourist area with cafes, restaurants and exclusive shops. The top floor of the tower offers a great view of the city. Don’t miss it. Spend time here and enjoy the historic sites.

Michael's Gate and the tower rising above are hard to miss in the Old Town. You can buy tickets in a nearby store to gain entry and climb the stairs for a panoramic view if the city. Interesting architecture that stands out. Certainly worth a peek.

The St. Michaels Tower is truly worth the climb. If you wish to see lots of the towers and streets from above, here is the place to be. To buy the ticker you need to go to the pharmacy about two doors from the entrance of this building. It is rather weird that they don't sell it there. However, once you obtain it you enter and you will be allowed to climb the 5 floors to the top. You can walk all the way around the top for great views of the city. Its a definite must see.

One of monument in Bratislava with more than 500 years history, few times upgraded and reconstructed as it was part of protection to invasion of medieval attackers.
