This is the second oldest Slovak professional theater with three regular ensembles including ballet, opera and drama. We came to Bratislava on a Viator tour which stopped here and we learned of it's proud history. It is a great photo opportunity.

Slovak Philharmonic is located in a stunningly beautiful baroque building, an exquisite architectural design worthy of preserving the nation's musical traditions.

A nice bulding, refers to Roman culture with it's sculptures and art.
Funny to see that none of the four composers that are on the building's entrance is slovak.

The Slovak Philharmonic Opera house is a stunning building with fantastic architecture. It’s a must see when your in Bratislava. You can get there from the old town walking. Then onto the UFO tower.

At edge of old town, this was a beautiful building to stop and get some nice pictures with fountain in front. Was there for early afternoon so couldn’t see music at night. A must see when in Bratislava

Can anyone recommend the proper attire for attending a concert here? We will be visiting in early March.

Smart casual. Most gentlemen wore a shirt as a minimum. A lot wore a jacket.
It's not a black tie event but dress respectfully.
Enjoy.
