Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Slovak Philharmonic, which is an Operw House originated in 1946 and resides in the Reduta building at Hviezdoslav Square. This square is named after after one of the most important Slovak poets Pavol Orszag Hviezdoslav. So for those who love the opera, here is the place to visit in Old Town. Notwithstanding it is a gorgeous baroque building to visit and admire without going to the opera.

Such building like these are usually always impressive. This one is no exception and sits nicely in the main square.
As most buildings in Bratislava the place is immaculately kept and looks amazing.
My hotel was next door so I had the pleasure of walking past it on several occasions.

The concert hall is situated close to the river side by the tram line. Its easily reachable from town center by walk in few mins. The building itself is beautiful with nice sculptures and carvings.

In the central square it was really beautiful. Loved to have been here overnight and get tickets to see carmen. I’m sure cheaper than Vienna !

A nice bulding, refers to Roman culture with it's sculptures and art.
Funny to see that none of the four composers that are on the building's entrance is slovak.

The Slovak Philharmonic Opera house is a stunning building with fantastic architecture. It’s a must see when your in Bratislava. You can get there from the old town walking. Then onto the UFO tower.

At edge of old town, this was a beautiful building to stop and get some nice pictures with fountain in front. Was there for early afternoon so couldn’t see music at night. A must see when in Bratislava

Can anyone recommend the proper attire for attending a concert here? We will be visiting in early March.

Smart casual. Most gentlemen wore a shirt as a minimum. A lot wore a jacket.
It's not a black tie event but dress respectfully.
Enjoy.
