We booked 2 bikes and one childseat with BikeBratislava.
We will give them all our credits for the communication before our pick up.
Nice bikes, good maintained, perfect arrangement!
I am a bit bigger as a normal woman and I got immediatly a bigger (men) bike. The bikes were in perfect condition. We got some bike repair tools with us, no stress all that way!
We enjoyed our ride and our child was verry happy in his seat! Our seat at home has less comfort as yours 🙂

I booked three bikes for me and my friends and when we went to pick them up noone was there and the phone was disconnected. There was no cancellation email.

We rented two bikes for the trip to Devin, Schloss Hof, etc - probably should have done the tour they advertised but I didn't see it until late. Great communications before we got there, and the young man that helped us that day was Sam, and he was great as well - friendly, helpful, professional - couldn't ask for a better experience! Thanks much!

I had a great experience yesterday by renting 2 bikes with my girlfriend. Bike were in good condition and the employee that attended us was nice and communicative. Price was fine for the whole day and service was fast. We call at 9am to know if they had availability and they answer quickly the phone. Anyway is better to reserve in advance. Very recommendable, we will do it again. Thanks!

We went here based on reviews, and the guy working did not know much. Nor did they have many bikes to offer. He didn't seem sure about the pricing, and the bikes were all older mountain bikes. I think helmets were extra and many of the things they advertised (tandem bike, scooters) weren't available The experience was lousy.

we are sorry to hear about your experience and we definitely don't recognize your described experience as the one we designed for this company. Can you please share the exact date when you have visited us so we can follow up with the proper staff to ensure this will not happen again?
Rental of helmets are definitely included in the rental price as we are advising everywhere. Tandem bike is not being advertised since last year, so if you would reply to us where did you find it advertised, we will fix that as well. Scooters (Kick and moto) are available - they might have been booked on that day.
We would like to hear back from you so we can address all of these issues you have raised.

I hired 4 trekking bikes from Bike Bratislava after recommendations from trip adviser. I have to say the service, quality of bike was first class. The staff spoke good English and always replied to my queries. I booked online from the uk as myself and 3 friends were planning a bike trip from Passau to Bratislava over 400 km. The bikes were nearly new, with locks panniers and helmets included at a very reasonable rate. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Ladislav and bike Bratislava were great and I would highly recommend them.
Our bikes were brought to Vienna, and our bags were taken to Bratislava to pick up the next day.

We booked 2 mountain bikes vie email for 9 days and then just picked them up!!! Thats simple and easy!!! The BikeBratislava is in a great location, just in the city center, so you can cycle in the direction of Austria or Budapest easily! The Stuff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming!!! We had really fantastic days cycling to Devin Castle, Kittsse (Austria), Iron Curtain Boarder trail, visited Bunkers and cycled along the Denube! It is the freedom you get while on the bike that you enjoy the most!!! While cycling we stoped over and had some food or coffees at the along cycling tracks cafes!!! The nature, you and your bike!!! Life really goes through you!!! I personally thanked Ladislav and other staff members for helping us making our dreams come true!!!

I pre-arranged rental of a bike for one day online, and collected at 8am on the day - all straightforward. The cost for the whole day was only 17 euros (including helmet, lock, etc) and in the end I had to arrange to return the next morning instead of before 8pm on the day, they didn't charge any extra.
The bike was nothing special but was fine for the mostly flat cycle paths.

Hello Ciska, first day is 17 EUR and all sub-sequent days is 13 EUR. 4 days and 2 bikes it will be 2 * (17 + 3*13) = 112 EUR. Please make sure to make a reservation ideally via phone or email or web site reservation system. Thanks.

Hello Ralila, yes, it is required. for a 50ccm the driving license is group A50 and for a 125ccm moto scooter it is group A. Alternatively, if you have a driving license of group B (regular cars) for more than 2 years, you can drive also our 125ccm scooter. Thanks

Hello,
the best wouldbe to ask the boat tou operator that is providing you the bikes :). Since we are customer friendly, we can give you a short advice.
If you ride along the Danube river against the flow of the river, you will get to a cycling path that will guide you to Devin Castle. It is a 12km long trip with a ~4 km portion where you will have to drive on the road with cars, rest is all cycling path.

Here is what I found online at bratislava info (TA won't let me post a link.)
By bicycle: It’s regrettable and illogical, but practically the only you can only get to one of Slovakia’s best bicycle trails (outward from Devin, towards Devinska Nova Ves) is by taking one of Slovakia’s least bicycle-friendly roads (the narrow road through the forest from the main part of Bratislava). The ideal is to get to Devin some other way, and bike the trail beyond. Still, dozens of cyclists brave this route every day. Another option is a new summer “cyclobus”, a city bus that carries bicyclists and their bicycles from the city centre to Devinska Nova Ves every hour.

Hello, there is a cycling path (with an exception of around 4 km where you need to cycle on road in the regular car lane) between downtown and Devin Castle, which is around 12km long.
There are not many opportunities to get lost, but if you'll come to us to rent a bike, we will expain you the directions and give you a map.
