I go there regularly for nostalgic reasons. However, as a tourist, you have a plenty of opportunities to see some ruins. There is an exhibition about the history. The catering at the botto of the castle hill is rather poor, the transport not very pleasant...More

20 min bus ride from Bratislava. Totally worth checking it out. Has lots of biking trails around it and you can buy currant wine at the base of the castle. You do have to pay admission to get into the castle grounds. It's an uphill...More

Easy bus journey from SNP. Don't get off too soon, the village of Devin comes first, but stay on the bus to the end of the line. The castle is interesting but only needs an hour or two.

I visited this place for the second time and I always like to come back. It´s nice to wallk along the river. The view from the castle is also beautiful. I forgot to take my ISIC to get the reduction for students.

I'm not a big fan of the castles, but this one was impressive. There's a small museum of weapons. You can easily imagine the time when the knights has been walked through the path ways. There's also a hotel, restaurants and souvenir stands outside of...More

Hi, I'm not sure if you can book in advance but it any case it's never that busy. The ticket booth was empty when we went mid morning and will only take you a minute or so to buy tickets. Enjoy!
