lovely street to just sit with a cuppa

Michaels gate is up the top if the street, it is one of the local landmarks and a must visit, the area is lovely and if you go through there is a great view of the city.

I was there doing tourism, and to walk around those corners was perfect. If you want to go to Vienna is only 1 hour by bus, and it costs 5 euros!

This is a lovely tower with a walkway underneath but could seriously do with a lick of paint on one side, there are always beggars hanging around though but I didn't feel at all threatened.

It's the landmark of Bratislava. Too crowded but you should be there and take as many pictures as you can day and night.

It's a good place to see all weapons that people were using during history. At the top you can have a great view on the Old Town.

This site lures you in, and it is nice to walk through this large gate, but there is no description of what importance it has. You must look everything up on the internet.

This gate is frequently used in photographs picturing Bratislava. It's a gateway but also tower museum upstairs. The exhibit features some old artifacts such as guns and other weapons. Also at the top is a fantastic view over Bratislava from the viewing deck.

It's the only city gate still standing from the medieval fortifications and is probably one of the oldest buildings in the stunning Old Town. Constructed around 1300 it underwent reconstruction in 1758 when they placed the status... More
