It is a beautiful structure and walking around is very charming. It is a landmark for Bratislava and its history is impressive.

The gate is huge but there's nothing incredible about it. It is a totally must see but not out of the ordinary.

Not a lot to see but it marks the start of the Old Town. From here you can explore the streets and the little bars.

What's a trip to Bratislava if you don't go to the Michael's gate? Beautiful, insta-worthy tower on a street full of beautiful hand made souvenir shops. Absolute must in Bratislava.

This is the old and current entry gate in to the old town. Very well preserved and restaurated. There are a bunch of souvenirs sellers around usually and some artists.

Well, you cannot visit Bratislava and not come across Michael's gate. It can be considered as one of the main icons of the city. Situated in downtown Bratislava, the gate and its clock offer great place to take some good photos.

Best is to start with this gate, walk down all the way to St. Martein church and then come back on the same street. This way you can see most of the attraction s in Bratislava except, castle and the blue church. The gate entrance...More
