Our tour guides gave us a tour on an old Skoda and van with stops around the city, and were informative & entertaining throughout. Their personal recollections of the era were particularly insightful and enabled us to see a different side to the city that we probably would not have otherwise come across. A thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bratislava

Great tour - Lukas was fantastic and Authentic Slovakia was easy to work with and booked, communicated quickly. Lukas was excellent driving the old Skoda which was lots of fun. He was knowledgeable and passionate about Slovakia history. Standing at the open border of Austria/ Slovakia was amazing as the history was presented by Lukas. Great tour!!!

Michal, a guide with Authentic Slovakia, took us on an excellent tour around Bratislava - he was very knowledgeable and made the history of his country both fascinating and entertaining. I would highly recommend him. Also, in the run-up to our trip, Authentic Slovakia was very responsive in getting back to us quickly and coming up with recommendations beyond the tour eg for restaurants, etc.

Although we come from a post-communist country, we found this tour to be quite insightful. Our guide was very enthusiastic and very well informed. We drove in 1971 Skoda which was a fun and unique experience. This tour is a definite recommendation when visiting Bratislava.

Branko the guide is awesome. He knows all the ins and outs of the city. Branko was able to show us things that we would not have seen without him. His knowledge of history and Bratislava is unsurpassed. I have to make my remarks as a teacher of Russian, German an Hungarian languages with over thirty years of both classroom experience and leading groups to Germany and Russia. I took this tour two days ago with Branko. He is an excellent guide with a perfect command of the English language. Branko knows every nook and cranny of the communist Bratislava. He sees things that the average Slovak wouldn't notice, such as the figures on the buildings. He went the "extra mile, or two kilo meters for us. The tour was to last two hours, but he gave us close to four hours and the time flew. In addition, for the price, only 35 Euros, we got not only a tour, but an excellent history lesson in modern Slovak history. I not only merely recommend this tour highly, I'd do it again . I would use Authentic Slovakia again. Great work!!
