The service was terrible from start to finish, got charged the wrong price but the young girl didn't care. Got to the lift queue and the young girl there just suddenly left and we all waited for some time wondering if she was coming back - she didnt so we just loaded ourselves into the lift (which wasn't hard but we thought we had to be counted or something). View was great and almost made the service worth it, however we then went into the bar and were spoken to terrible and made to feel like we werent welcome so we left. recommend the view, but staff need some training.

OK, the chance to look up and down the Danube River and across the Slovak National Uprising Bridge to old Bratislava from 85m/275 high is irresistible. Yes, there is a decent restaurant at the top if you want to be formal, or you can just choose something light served at one of small tables lined up along the windows. It's a big place. We had a lovely late-afternoon snack of wine and pastry, priced a bit on the high side, which is perfectly understandable, given the unique location and character. But so what? It's a million dollar view. Like other such stuctures once colorfully called "space needles," this one invites you there to gawk, so enjoy it. The food and libations are a pleasant addition. We enjoyed ours, taking our time so we could see and photograph all the views. The staff were very pleasant; no one rushed us, and in truth all the employees seemed to be as happy as were, up there taking in the sights on a splendid day of blue sky and long views. It's a short easy walk from old Bratislava over the bridge named above. If you want to add a bit of exercise ahead of dining, you can always choose another bridge crossing and hike on the opposite side of the river to get to the UFO which is, after all, built on the side of the National Rising Bridge that is closer to the far bank. We chose to cross on the Lanfranconi bridge, as that took us through an interesting part of the city, with good examples of art nouveau architecture that we wanted to see. It's quite a trek, and some of the pathway is a bit crumbly and at times hard to navigate, given the number of public recreational areas and boat/ship moorings along the way, but it gives an entirely different view, whets the appetite, and IMO is worth the time and effort -- assuming you're fit and curious enough to want to go on your own route rather than just following everyone else going there by the shortest, easiest way. Highly Recommended. Highly recommended.

The views are really nice - you can see the Danube, and Bratislava (including the Old Town and Castle) and it is worth seeing but it is overpriced for what it is. I am also not really a fan of different charges at different times (for example, charging more in the afternoons/evenings) The restaurant has a nice ambiance and of course, the view, but seemed overpriced and the staff weren't very welcoming. Although a good experience, it all seems a bit like a tourist trap. It is worth going if you want to see the whole town or the views but just beware of the high prices.

A highlight of my trip, brilliant bar and restaurant with amazing views. Amazing views across the city, if you go day or night you won’t be disappointed Going outside. May not be for the faint hearted…

My first ever made experiance was, before I‘ve been seated to get an introduction about the rules of the restaurant, how ever it was important. Guess if beeing seated, someone will be upset about the prices… The meal was excellent but as I have been there after 5pm the sun was setting and the only light was a weak blue one above the table. I was literally grabbing in the dark. It was a pitty because it was very small portion for a lot money and then no enough light to see it.

Well worth visiting the ufo tower. Good views over the old city and the river Danube. The lift up is just a short ride and then up a few steps to the viewing platform. I had a beer in the cafe/ restaurant which was nice to warm up inside and relax overlooking the city.

Constructed as a part of the bridge across River Danube the UFO tower serves a wonderful purpose of giving visitors to Bratislava a grand view of the city from one spot. The foot bridge was attached to the side of the bridge making it easy to access the tower via the bank of the river Danube. A high-speed elevator took us to the deck less than a minute. The view from the observation deck was fantastic. There was a restaurant too.

We had a beautifully sunny day for our trip and it was lovely. A fantastic view of the city. We had to walk across the bridge itself as well which was a nice walk over the river. Also, the restaurant was quite pricey and requires 1 main each ro dine so we had some “snacks” in the burger which was fantastic. Good value trip up for views and snacks

The UFO is easy to access but probably would go early in the morning as in summer it would get busy. A little pricey to go up there but well worth it for the view's. Bar area has good selection of beers and Also food.

The views from the observation deck here were really beautiful. I visited at dusk and got some truly wonderful photos. Afterwards I visited the bar where I drank some very nice Slovak wine while watching the world go by!
