Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was recommended to use this as a great way to visit Vienna and was not disappointed at all. Sat with a coffee as we sailed up the Danube.

Bratislava to Vienna, could've taken the flixbus for cheaper but this added a little bit of style and the opportunity to directly travel on the Danube.

Fabulous way to travel from Vienna to Bratislava. Lovely catamaran and we paid extra for seats with a view. Plenty of room to move around. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, thanks

This is surely the best way to travel between Vienna and Bratislava. The boat is fast and comfortable. The best views are had standing on the open deck at the stern, weather permitting. The (green-brown) Danube flows through forested national park for part of the way, but the scenic highlights are the castle town of Hainburg and the ruined fortress of Devin on its crag. It costs twice as much as the train trip between the two cities, but if you choose the right day to travel and the right time to be born, you can travel for half price - on Super Tuesdays seniors get a 50% discount.

Got the boat from Bratislava to Vienna on a lovely sunny day. Easy to book the tickets online. Beautiful journey. Tip: we paid for the most expensive seats but it was pointless as we stood on deck the whole way. Book the cheap seats!!

Travelled from Bratislava on the Twin City Liner, to stay in Vienna - what a great way to travel ! Friendly & helpful staff, comfortable seating & great views, the whole journey taking around 90 minutes up the Danube. Would recommend to anyone.

Only 1.5 hours on boat from Bratislava to Vienna.
Plenty of room for luggage.
Spacious boat with light refreshments, comfortable seats, lots of windows to see the views, friendly staff.
Lots of woods but look out for Devin castle at edge of Slovakia, fishing huts, lovely old town in Austria. The boat has a commentary at points of interest.
Main issue was lack of information about getting a taxi once in Vienna which we needed as we had luggage - go out of boat and turn left up the ramp, then cross road to your right and in front of you is a taxi rank.

I used this service as my transportation from Bratislava to Vienna. I spent a day in Bratislava and booked a one way ticket for the 18:30 boat. Obviously, it takes a little longer than the train, but it was a great alternative to see the scenery along the way. They have luggage storage on the boat, as well as drinks and snacks for sale. The schedule was exactly as advertised and I had no problems on either end of the trip.

We used the service to go from Vienna to Bratislava and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The ferry was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. The service from the staff was good and the facilities were great, ie the toilets. It was interesting to see the land each side of the Danube - there was a national park on one side which had what looked like fishing cabins intermittently spread along. I would recommend this as a way to get between the two cities.
