The historical buildings are fairly renovated and still in use today. The area has two vantage points, from where one has a nice view over the city.

Well worth the walk through the Castle District to take in the panoramic views this vantage point offers - look over the rooftops of the town and surrounding hills. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

you can have a lovely walk on the hill, where there are amazing old buildings. the view is also nice, but other than that there isn't much to see - unless you'd like to visit a museum or two

Signs throughout the town are in Hungarian and English. So despite not speaking Hungarian or German, was able to self guide through the historical buildings. Stopped in the museum and saw the "violin workshop". A craftsman making violins - almost out of a movie!
