This town was described to us as an artists' colony. Although the town itself is probably charming it was overrun with touristy shops and stalls. I would not use up a day of sightseeing to go here.

Szentendre is a charming little town that is heavily touristed. There are a few nice shops, but most sell souvenirs made in China. It is fun to explore the nooks and crannies of this old place.

This was of fun little town to visit with lots of shops and restaurants to go to. When they hear is enough to see everything and visit the shops. I recommend taking the ferry back to Budapest . it's an inexpensive fun ride

The centre of Szetendre is full of boutiques, art and craft shops, cafes, restaurants and nice views for taking a walk around the town or a sit-down to relax.
