Can go at an appointed time in combo with the cathedral or as a standalone. Either way, don't miss it. It is an educational, thought-provoking and eye appealing trip through Catholicism in Hungary dating back 1000 years. Be sure to see the area kept secret...More

I was at the wine tasting in a cellar very close to the cathedral ( Puspoki Magtar). It is very nice place, the cellar is underground and i mostly like Cabernet frank 2011 from Villanyi.

The Bishop's Palace is of medieval origin. Its form today is Baroque from the 18th century. There is an important Library in the building.

Bishop's Palace goes back to the 12th Century. You won't be able to miss the light hearted statue of Franz Liszt on the balcony...it almost looks like he is leaning over the railing to welcome someone.

With his long hair and relaxed look, for all intents and purposes, Liszt could be a contemporary of young people of today. The expression, demeanor, and pose speak volumes about the composer as a person. I am thinking he was a wild and crazy kind...More
