One of the most complex and interesting cathedrals of Hungary with the possibility to visit the cathedral, crypt and to have a gorgeous view from the southern tower which is open to public.

Can not add more to the reviews, beautiful, stunning etc. I do have a complaint. Seen the cathedral in the 50's and it did look magnificent but now with that horrible green-come what ever colour on the roofs????? Who's bad taste, or lack of knowledge...More

You can look at the whole cathedral without needing to pay. The walls and ceiling inside are so amazing- my photos do not do it justice at all. A must see!

This necropolis is one of the larger ones away from Rome. It is the burial sites of Saints Peter & Paul. and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town, itself, is really nice; for strolling dining and shopping.

A very nice bright and welcoming church, lovely crypt where we heard someone singing, the acoustics were great. We also heard the organ being played. If you limit the number of church visits I would go to this one.

I have toured many churches in Europe. I did not see anything special about this one. If you are short on time, I would suggest you skip this place and find other things that interest you.

A magnificent church to visit. Apart from the beautiful interior, the ticket also allows access to the crypt and (if you are not afraid of heights), a climb up 133 steps of the south-eastern tower for a magnificent 360 view of Pecs. The exterior of...More

Pécs Cathedral admission includes access to its southeast tower which has the best perspective of the mostly flat town of Pécs. The large cathedral has the usual murals and Christian decorations also.

I was advised to try Mecsek Cukrászda on Szécheny tér by a retired couple. We had icecream and coffee. Both were good. The staff was friendly and attentive. We spoke Hungarian, so I don' t know about their English skills. The place inside does not...More
