The 12 m high white statue was completed in 2001, showing the moment when the bishop is placeing the crown on Saint Stephen's head. (Saint Stephen was the first king of Hungary) On a sunny day the view to the Danube river from the statue...More

Nice walk up to the statue and a great view across the Danube into Slovakia. The area is well done with a coffee shop and rest rooms also nearby

This beautiful sculpture stands looking over the Danube and it is stunning in its beautiful simplicity. We visited it after we toured the Basilica.

Quite lovely and unexpected. Interesting design and a shame more people don't see it. If you have the chance to get there it makes great pictures.

The statue is by the edge of the basilica / castle district. It offers lovely views and is itself a great piece of art. Especially impresive by night with the lights.

This is located at the Basilia so you needn't travel far. I don't know what the statue is for, so it was not very interesting to me. However there were fantastic views.
