Being an avid stamp collector, I could not pass up the opportunity to visit this place. I saw stamps that have been issued in the world, rare stamps and also fake ones. Some stamps are bigger than others, more beautiful than others, irregular shapes as not the normal, common rectangular / squarish types. Themes of stamps varied but common ones... More

As a collector of stamps from early childhood I wanted to go to this museum. The museum has stamps from every country of the world even if they no longer exist. You have to ring the bell to get in. The man that took our money sporke little English but was very helpful. When we went upstairs we were asked... More

This stamp museum is a must for stamp collectors. They have a massive collection of world stamps which you are allowed to view. The staff are helpful even though English for them is difficult. It is easy to spend a few hours here. I spent an hour but was disappointed that I could not take any photos.

As a stamp collector in my childhood, I decided to go to this museum as it was close to my hotel. Stamps from Hungary and Poland were quite a treasure. What a little gem .. there are 500,000 stamps on display in catalogued sliding boards. Apparently just a fraction of their 10,000,000 stamp collection. Stamps not just from Hungary but... More

Amazing exhibited stamp collection ! I'd spend 2 h and unfortunately interrupted due lack of time. They hold stamp from states that not exists more !!! Fee is 500 F , is less than cup of coffee in many places in Budapest !

I only collected stamps as a child but in the 1950's the Magyar Post stamps were special. I had to see this museum because of this. Well, if you have the time it is quite the experience. Somewhere I read that this small museum holds 13 million stamps. I spent about 2 hours there and could have spent the day.... More

This museum is a secret gem. The sheer number of exhibited stamps is amazing: it is the largest stamp museum in the world, and a must for anyone even vaguely interested in stamps.
