This place is the real thing with a warm pool of mineral water in an environment like a flashback. It is not fancy, in fact the whole place seems a bit shabby but for me that just added to its charm. Facts & Tips. The...More

Kiraly baths is a bit worn around the edges, but really nice, and pleasantly quiet. Old and atmospheric main pool at ideal temperature, with traditional slightly sulphurous water, but not unpleasantly so (& feels good for skin), and stone benches to lounge on around it....More

Doesn’t look like a lot from the outside but for a group of 4 teenagers who wanted to cool down it was perfect. It wasn’t busy on a Sunday afternoon as the other baths in Budapest probably would have been. It has a range of...More

I went here a day after I tried Szenchenyi. They are polar opposites. While Szenchenyi was big , busy and almost modern, Kyraly is old , quiet and small. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. The staff are friendly. I paid...More

The place is very old, but the baths are nice. Closed space original from 500 years ago , that's what they said. The main pool has a dome with holes on it to filter the light. It gives the room a very intersting effect.

Kiraly Baths is quite good bath place and my own favorite one in Budapest. The price is lower than on the other baths like Szechenyi etc but there are the basic bathing facilities. The most serious drawback with Kiraly is that it is located quite...More

Very nice traditional thermal baths. My favourite experience whilst in Budapest for 2 days. Enjoyed the traditional old style baths compared to the more modern ones. A nice and relaxing place to spend a few hours. Would definitely go back when next in Budapest!
