We walked a long way to get to Kiraly Baths. NO tourist information or website explained that the baths are now mixed EVERY day and as we didn't have 'swimmers' with us...we couldn't go in. It appears that 'male only' days are now a thing...More

I have read many reviews of the Kiraly Baths;some positive, some negative. I will spell this out now loud and clear. The baths are over 600 years old! Parts of the baths date back to when Hungary was ruled and occupied by the Ottomans. Step...More

I loved Kiraly, it's very old, authentic and local. I went 3 consecutive afternoons on my 3 day trip to Budapest. The 1st day was bliss, quiet, atmospheric and very relaxing. The next 2 afternoons there were people with phones and cameras, really distracting!! When...More

I was intrigued by the authentic nature of this location. So gave it a try on a recent trip. First the price is excellent, but you get what you pay for. While the place is a classic, it is also not well maintained. The floors...More

This is the most beautiful Bath in Budapest!! It is the oldest one, it costs around 7€ it is small but so suggestive and charming!! You are not allowed to take pics, which makes your relaxing time even better!! You definitely have to go there!!

This is not a place for those who want modern and glitzy facilities. It offers a basic and functional experience of several hot baths, saunas, steam room and plunge pool in a facility that is good value (2500 HUF).

Our hotel recommended this place when we asked about Thermal spas in Budapest. They said it was over 600 years old and we would be the only tourists there. It sounded like an adventure so we made our way there and came across what looked...More

You can not leave Budapest without getting in touch with its epic thermal waters. Kiraly Baths are a good place since you can have an authentic bathing experience which dates from five centuries ago... You pay for a flat-price that gives you access to baths...More

The Kiraly Baths are over 600 years old on the Budda side of Budapest. As one local resident told me, "This is the only good thing the Turks left us." There are a series of baths, plunge pools, steam room, dressing rooms, etc. in this...More
