Created by Hungarian sculptor and artist Miklós Ligeti in 1903, Anonymus is one of my favourite sculptures anywhere! Excellent location in the courtyard of Vajdahunyad Castle just opposite the Baroque quarter of the Castle.

Looks like the grim reaper and very popular with tourists with everyone clambering for selfies with him.

Very unusual sculpture,in a tranquil setting. I liked it. Good photo opportunity if you don't mind a bit of drama by kneeling in front of it.

A haunting statue, a highlight of city park late at night on a cold December evening. Hard to explain but gave me chills and it was not due to the cold night air.

The statue is placed in a large park near to Hero's square. It says if you touch its quill pen you won't have a problem with words.

Well worth a visit even if only for the photograph. It's said that if you touch the pen you'll never be stuck for words...glad my old Mother-in-Law was never here!

It's worth walking from the city center to discover Anonymus, it's an interesting piece of art and you could make a story around him. The place it's also very nice, we went in the summer and for the photos it was great.
