Very green, but my favourite of the numerous bridges that cross the Danube. I have to write 100 chars, but it's just a bridge.

The Liberty Bridge stands out because of its green color. It spans the Danube River and is one of many bridges in the city. It was originally constructed in 1896 and rebuild after WWII. It is flanked by large squares on either end.

This bridge is beautiful to walk across, see from a distance or view from below in a river boat. Steeped with history from the various wars relating to Budapest it has wonderful views and looks wonderful lit up at night.

We stayed at Forum square so went over the bridge several times. It is really pretty in the evening and you get some lovely views of the city in the middle of the bridge

My favourite bridge of them all especially when lit up at night. It's a lovely walk across and then come back over one of the others, perhaps the chain bridge

Of the six or seven bridges crossing the Danube I liked this one the best. It's a like greenish color and looks very old. A great spot to take pictures.

There was some kind of tram construction work going on in early july so the bridge was closed to traffic. Anyway there are always side routes for pedestrians. The bridge is quite small, I would say 5m if you don't want to... More
