We visited Lukacs Baths as we had free entry with our Budapest card. The changing rooms are unisex and only place to change into swimwear is in the toilet- which smelt very bad so not a comfortable experience. We looked past that and went through...More

All feels a little more 'real', locals and we inevitable tourists mix nicely. I couldn't tear myself from the great and swimable outdoor pools but my other half rated the inside 'activity' pool and the hot rooms. It is a little confusing to start with...More

This was recommended by a local tour guide as it was least 'touristy'. It certainly is cheaper also. Lots of reviews note the need for a swimming cap, but these are only for the lap pools (of which there are 2 and they are very...More

Our family of five (children 6, 7 and 9) visited Lukas bath on a weekday because it was free on the Budapest card. This bath is not kid friendly. The kids were only allowed in one pool. The pool had a fun lazy river and...More

The pools and saunas were nice but the whole building was full on stairs and corridors. Also you have to enter the place through the courtyard (just a hint😉). The towels and swimcaps have to be collected from a different place than the actuall tickets...More

This spa is more of a local-type. With detracts from nothing of it's variety of swimming baths, saunas and medicinal baths. It's a little cheaper then other baths in the district (about 8-9 of them). Defiantly a preferred type of Bath if you like something...More

Out of the baths I've tried (Lukács, Gellert & Széchenyi) this is my second best, after Széchenyi. The pools are very nice and there's plenty to see and experience within the bath even though you can't see much of it from the outside. The layout...More

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 hours at Lukacs Spa but found it a little confusing getting in and around as little English is spoken but we managed to get our bracelets and enter. It is like a maze inside with twists and turns...More
