The zoo is cleverly organized into continents where animals originate from. It is well set out with plenty to interest everyone. I particularly liked the orang-utans.

Been there for approximately one and a half hours, and was quite disappointed and bored. The compound design was uncomfortable.

Budapest's only ZOO with a big variety of animals. It is fairly big so calculate a few hours if you want to visit the whole area.

It was so hot and the animals looked so suffering in their little cages, especially the polar bears were so out of their natural habitant. The animals didnt have good conditions from my opinion.

The zoo itself was easy to find and cheap but the conditions they have the animals in are disgusting. Small cages and severely over crowded tanks of fish. Several dead reptiles. I'm surprised peta isn't all over this zoo.
