Take a hike up to the Citadel and you're treated to incredible views the whole way up. There are great displays outside with pictures from the past and information about its history.

Glad we got off our Hop on bus. Leisurely stroll lots of photo opportunities. Couple of restaurants which looked busy manageable by walking but better to use buses to save time and energy

Getting the bus to the citadel is well worth the effort as the views over Budapest and the Danube are stunning - just have to wait your turn to get the best photos

The views from the top are stunning. Well worth the rather long climb on the way up. Well worth seeing!
