Very nice church and located in a nice location. We visited it after taking part in a free walking tour that helped us learn about the history of the city.

There's a gleam, there's a gleam. Shining off the white stone, the sun illuminates the exterior with a shimmering and mystical glow. Colors cascade and caress each other on the roof, protecting the psychedelic kaleidoscope that lies underneath. Entering the church for a reasonable fee, one begins to feel energy and vibrations unspoken. Vivid, awe inspiring designs, shapes and contours break expectations and shatter the mundane brain. There is no escape from the beauty, it is legion. Time stands still as art becomes existence. One does not simply leave this church unimpressed.

Recently reopened after several years of restorations. Note the tiled roof from the famous Zsolnay factory in the must visit city of Pecs which is located about 100+ kms south of Budapest. Easy trip by train. Stay a few nights to see the city and it’s many art galleries.

This beautiful church stands out as one of the most magical buildings in the Buda side of town. While it's not easy to find a time to be able to enter the church, due to its popularity with weddings, its exteriors alone are worth the visit.
