Full of little food stalls. Souvenirs. Fresh produce was well worth a visit to the market Hall. Much larger than ones im used to at home enjoyed wondering around the market hall.

We visited this place early in our trip and bought a few things but all were good quality and better value than we saw anywhere else. We bought cheese to have later and had an enjoyable lunch upstairs. There was much to see and it was fun.

The Budapest Central Market is one of the best city markets we've visited, with a huge variety of fresh fish, meat and vegetables on offer, as well as a first floor of tourist items for sale. Wonderful that these are segregated. We found this to be the best place to buy our souvenir tins of goose liver paté and Tokaji... More

Built at the end of 19th century, the Central Market Hall is the largest indoor market in Budapest. On thr ground floor you'll find a large selection of sausages, meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. On the second floor, there are food stands and plenty of vendors selling handicrafts, clothing, and other souvenirs.
