At Grand Halles at Hunyadi Ter you can by your lunch and enjoy it in the local park. Not many tourists but many local people eating lunch or doing their shopping.

I am happy to announce that the Hunyadi ter (once a very unpleasant, still interesting) spot along World Heritage Andrassy boulevard has been renovated! Just a few days before the official opening, it looks fabulous! Full of green lawn, benches, a fountain and even a Music Pavilion for concerts! It looks like a nice place to relax, enjoy the shade... The Hunyady tér is the shame of the city, especially the Market Hall, it wasnt renovated since 1945, the stones are falling down, the tér is full with homeless people, dirty etc. I dont like to go there, however the market is good, with fine, fresh food.
