Our 5 day return visit to Ljubljana took us through this Square several times. We enjoyed it during the day and also in the evening.

The center of the old town is a local meeting point - I enjoyed the atmosphere and lovely cathedral.

In the heart of Ljubljana, this square was involved by artist, architecture and colorful activity. Love this place.

The statue is of high cultural importance in Slovenia, as it represents the man who wrote our anthem Zdravljica and many other beautiful poems.

A pretty focal and iconic place in central Ljubljana, right next to the river. You can’t visit Ljubljana without walking through this square and admiring the surrounding buildings, three bridges and the river. This is also where the free walking tour begins.

5 mins max on the side of the "big orange building!" Very close & great views of castle floodlit at night if you choose the right room.
