My wife and I visited in June 2022. It is a 20-minute walk from the parking lot to the falls. There are also many interesting attractions in the immediate area.

We stopped here during a bike tour around Bovec. You need to park and lock up your bike for a short walk down a hill and back uo, but totally worth it.

Nice walk through forests, pass artifitial lake, to the waterfall. Nice waterfall, slippery rocks. Nice to swim, but could be crowded. If not keen of walking, there is a paid parking just above waterfall.

Beautiful waterfall, easily accessible, walk about 5 minutes from the parking lot
We have been twice already - once on a sunny hot day - it was great because it is pleasantly cold at the waterfall, we were also in the rain - then the waterfall gets an even nicer look so I recommend it in any weather

It was easy to find the Waterfall, there was absolutely nobody else there so you can find the moment of peace like you are the only one there and nobody else.

Very beautiful place, you can get under the waterfall, swim there (if you're man/girl enough) and if you dare you can climb above it - there's a small path, a bit harder to climb, but the result is beautiful for true adventurers!

I was visiting Bovec and decided to hike to Virje. The path was easy and calm, mostly the path went trough a forest.

Very easy access in the middle of the beautiful nature, 5 minutes to walk from parking (PAY), very refreshing water in the shade of tries. It is a small waterfall, but it is "must" see in Bovec. Totally recommended.

20metre wide and 12 metre high multi stranded waterfall. Easy to access. Short walk from parking. Icy cold water :) bathing is not allowed. The waterfall is an incredible pearl of nature, so we preserve its beauty for posterity.

Virje Waterfall is maybe a small waterfall compare to others, but its really beautiful and easy to walk here.
you can start to walk from Bovec it is not difficult and the way is clear.
The water is clean and clear but cold. But you can swim if you like cold water!!

You can definitely walk from Bovec to the falls. Many people park inBovec and walk past the church to Pluzna or they park by Kanin and walk past the Golf course.
When you reach Pluzna the trail is well signed and becomes more rugged.
