Such a beautiful place!

If you ever consider visiting Vintgar, then you wont regret. Amazing nature. Only downside is a lot of tourist, and very long lines. But worth waiting.

If you love a nature walk with waterfalls, and spectacular views this is a must see. Can be a little slippery so be sure to wear appropriate foot wear

Do not listen to tourist office officials or others telling you the gorge is closed. It is not, nor are they working on the nets etc. Officialy it might be, but there is nothing stopping you from entering. We passed about 20 others while walking. It is perfectly safe and as others have said beautiful. We hired a taxi from... More

There is a reason why the tourists come flooding. Vintgar Gorge is extraordinary. The turquoise River Radovna has carved a plunging Gorge that is so very intricate and stunning that the journey through it is basically a scenic playground. For about two wonderful hours, you criss-cross through nature that varies at every turn.

If you are staying in the Lake Bled area then a visit to the Vintgar Gorge is a must. As others have said, its a lovely walk through fantastic scenery with the river roaring below you. The man made walkways are sturdy and safe, and it is suitable for any able bodied person.

A lovely place to visit with beautiful scenery and natural surroundings. There weren't any people around when I visited this place along with 2 of my friends. It was raining but we had a thorughly enjoyable (a little scary to be honest) experience when we visited Vintgar Gorge.

I tought it might be closef but it was not the case. The stairs and wooden bridges are in very good conditions also. Entrance is 4 EUR and it's a 4 kms walk both ways, there is a waterfall in the end after the ticket booth in the other side. Great for spending a couple of hours there but one... More

As part of a day trip to Lake Bled stopped over at Vintgar Orge. Our tour dropped us at the bottom end of the gorge. A great walk up the gorge followed, natural bush, waterfall, riverside walkway. A really enjoyable hour. Was a bit fresh is the shadow areas of the gorge so take a jacket. If in this area... More
