A great example of Slovenia’s incredible natural beauty made very accessable by a series of walkways crossing this natural gorge. About a 90 minute walk to the end and back, family friendly and well worth the 5 euros entry (cash only) The only gripe was...More

I visited this towards the end of the day in October (I would recommend visiting after the main tourist buses have been if you have access to a car as will be less busy!) You need a decent pair of shoes/trainers, as it does get...More

This is worth the trip to go see. Very pretty walk along banks and edges of the Radovna river. We biked to Vintgar Gorge from Bled. Took maybe 30 minutes, was uphill a bit but not crazy. There are several places to rent bikes in...More

It was a lovely trek. Since it was off peak season, it was a rather leisurely walk, and there were many opportunities for photo taking. Our guide drew our attention to best shots. The excursion took over an hour.

Such a beautiful place and perfectly safe for families with children. We missed the peak of fall color but it was still beautiful and a nice, warm day.

We went there last October. Very nice place to visit, surrounded by natural environment. There's a side passage that you must walk through till the end, about 25 minutes walk along a lovely river; but sorry; no pushchairs or wheelchairs can be taken. It was...More

Should not miss if you visit Bled. Amazing nature with many waterfalls when you walk along the river on a wooden trail. Go early to get a slot in the car parking and to avoid crowds.

The wooden pathways were very helpful, making it a lot way easier to walk. The water was crystal clear and relaxing. The entrance fee was € 5 and free car park. Pets friendly.

This is very beautiful but it is extremely busy and I'm a little torn, not sure this hasn't tipped the edge and gone too touristy. The wooden walkways, metal gates, and shop at the end make it much safer/easier for kid but takes away some...More

A perfect place for a weekend walk of a couple of hours. The ticket is 5 e in season. I think it's the most beautiful in june and july and early autumn.

Yes you can. Have fun. The circular walk back via the church might be quite muddy as you go through the woods though.

They had told us that it opens at 8am, but when we got there at 8 it was already open, and the ticket agent said it opens at 7. If I were you I would go at 7:30 - 7:45.
