Stunning views of the lake. Enjoyed a coffee whilst watching the world go by down below. We walked up and down - steep but perfectly possible for my mother (early 70s). Some extensive renovations going on - clearly required and you can't blame them for...More

The castle was a disappointment as it was under refurbishment and missing big the rooms were closed to the public. Great for school excursions but not smfir adults. The wine cellar was good to see and so were the views of the lake.

The panorama from the castle is nice, but for 11€ it is a little bit expensive. During the renovation many rooms were closed, but even the openened exhibitions were poorish.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Bled Castle even though they are still doing a lot of renovations to improve the footpaths and the inner areas. The hike up to the castle is challenging but very feasible if you are up to the task....More

When you visit Bled castle the most important thing to do is to enjoy views over Bled lake. It also has museum, but unfortunately it is not as good as you would expect of such place. If you skip it, no harm. I’m missing some...More

I think its worth going in for the views. What I found to be a rip off is the boat to the island. We paid 14 euro pp to get there, was only given 1 hr, and we had to pay an extra 6 euro pp to enter the church and the museum... More

Il ristorante del castello sembra chic ma non conosco i prezzi. Si sul lungolago c'erano dei chioschi con bevande, cibi ed oggetti. Lubiana è a 80 km da Bled. Saluti.

You can book a table by telephoning the castle, where a member of staff will redirect you to the restaurant. The number can be found on the castle's website.
