This square is a meeting point to everyone - groups, individuals. When I was there I joined a walking tour which started here, as many others. The square was full of children, probably doing "field trips" with their teacher. A starting point to every walking...More

Before adventuring into the little streets that will take you to the old town plaza start your walk right on Castle Square. Visit the castle if you have enough time.

Large square at edge of Old Town and at start of Barbican. Views across the river to the National Football Stadium. Lots of dining and drinking options in surrounding streets. An ideal spot to meet up, or as a starting point for further exploring.

A good place to begin exploration of the old town. The column and castle are right in the square while many of the other old town attractions are just minutes away.

It is fun just to be there, look at the people, the houses and enjoy the peace all around you, afterward take a stroll to the old town.
