An absolute gem. Really beautiful Square, a focal point for all things good about Warsaw. Great vibe with crowds of tourists and locals alike, beautiful buildings, performance artists and verve. Loved it here, we kept going back night after night. No better place to spend a summers evening!

Still a hub of activity but not as exciting as in the summer season. Has a light display beaming onto the wall of the castle to help lift the atmosphere

The Christmas markets were in place during our trip, we were disappointed that the castle was closed. However the local cafes were very good value and worth a visit. Shame about the castle

The entrance to the castle is on the square along with a statue of King Sigismund III. There... More

Although it was a cool day, and the area was white, walked around a bit. In the area was "Christmas markets" along the pedestrian mall, nice and fun

The Royal road and old town are beautiful. This is a place everyone should visit. Great food, lots of restaurants and bars to choose from and prices much cheaper than other European Cities - lovely place for a few days

My sister and I visited the old town and began on Castle Square. The Christmas fair was great , bought hot wine which was so warming! Good local restaurants and lot's of gift and souvenir shops. Worth the visit!!

Worth a walk around. Didn't get into the museum as the queue was quite long so I would recommend going on any day but Sunday!
