Just down from the opera house in a park area. Unusual in its simplicity and beautiful in its meaning.

There are many monuments in Poland commemorating war heroes and victims of communist terror, but this one is something special. It has a form of black ring, which was traditionally worn by widows to commemorate their men who lost their life fighting for freedom of the country.
