Easily accessible on the tram ( stop right outside the zoo). Ticket staff spoke perfect English and very friendly.
Equivalent of ten English pounds a ticket for one adult . Amazing value for money as this got entry to the whole zoo and the africarium...More
Really good zoo. Great seeing hippos, penguins and seals swimming underwater. Aquarium really fantastic. Very easy to see the animals in their enclosures. Made the mistake of trying to go threr by boat which stops at the back entrance which is closed out of season...More

I drove there, from the centre, in about 15 minutes - it was an easy enough drive on main roads - so either a taxi or one of several buses or a tram (assuming you don't have your own car as we did!) will get you there easily... More
I drove there, from the centre, in about 15 minutes - it was an easy enough drive on main roads - so either a taxi or one of several buses or a tram (assuming you don't have your own car as we did!) will get you there easily and cheaply enough - the car park was cheap by zoo standards for anyone driving there too.
I wouldn't recommend walking unless you are into marathons as the zoo itself is a full day activity on your feet!

Wroclaw zoo was the biggest in Europe for a long time (and also long time ago)..
recently they improved manyfacilieties for the tourist as for the animals which I do believe do the work for both as well!
