This is a very small synagogue, basically one room. If you don't know much about synagogues you won't find out anything more, there is no information, no brochures and no one will explain anything to you. You can take pictures there though. Also, behind the...More

A very old synagogue and from what we saw very popular with many International Jewish travelers. The synagogue itself is quite small and it has an adjacent very old cemetery which, like the nearby "new" Jewish cemetery, has walls made up from previously destroyed headstones...More

Historical sight of very old synagogue.A place of pilgrimage to many International Jewish travellers. Has been restored and maintains a reverence and spirituality lost in many bigger temples. This synagogue and the adjoining cemetery are not large, yet encapsulate some of the rich history of Jewish presence in Krakow.

A tiny synagogue with a remarkable long history and a very old graveyard. A place of great importance to the Jewish people and a remarkable survivor of the evil of the Nazis.

The entry fee into this Synagogue is just 10 zl and it goes towards helping to restore the temple to its former glory. The entrance fee also gets you access to the Old Jewish Cemetery which is very impressive though small. The worship hall is...More
