Great place for food and drink in various bars and restaurants. Some familiar like the golden arches, and Costa, and local ones, the Piano Rouge is great place to eat, either in side or in the square. Many side directs lead off the square where there are many more eating and drinking places

A really beautiful square with incredible views from wherever you are. My favourite way to reach the square was to come through the Barbican and St. Florian's Gate, where you can see the tower up ahead behind the pastel coloured buildings. It is obviously a tourist hotspot but it is nice to see that the square isn't dominated by chains... More

Great spot in heart of Krakow where you can see St. Mary's Basilica and Cloth Hall. There are horse-drawn carriages you can rent. It's a great spot to take pictures and see the crowds of locals and tourists. It should definitely be where you go if you can only go one place in Krakow. I highly recommend seeing it.

This large open square has a covered market, Cloth Hall, in the middle. Surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants. For those interested in photography there is plenty to see. Phone pics included below.

Ok, so we went on a cold, wet evening, when not sane people were tucked up at home, but I wasn't as blown away as I thought I'd be. The church does look very impressive - but far more interesting on the inside. The indoor market does have a few items which are worth a second glance, but mainly tourist... More

It's a lovely place to take photos at and take it all in. There were always horses and carriages there and if I had more time I'd definitely go on one. There was a shopping market there which had nice gifts there. Plenty of places for food and drink on the square (Costa & Hard rock cafe for fussy eaters)... More

This is a great place to pass through, have a coffee, but the restaurants and bars are over priced. A minutes walk outside the square and you have a much better dinning experience.

My walk included a stop at a wonderful cake shop. Sadly, I lost the photos and my notes for the shop. The two girls inside spoke superb English. They led me through a cake tour. I purchased so much cake, could only eat a bite of each, but the cheesecake stood out as best of the shop. So, if you... More
