So often main market squares can feel a little cramped. What with so many pretty buildings and many tourists. Krakows main square IS BUSY but... is so large it doesn't feel it. Plenty of pubs and restaurants line the sides which is great. Highly recommend checking it out. Especially if you enjoy people watching.

Really enjoyed the main market square. It was nice to look around the market. Had a lovely hot chocolate in one of the cafes.

There was a Christmas market in the square with the usual sort of products. Food very traditional excellent. Wooden toys and cooking utensils. Amber , hats, scarves gloves and clothes. Lots of young people drinking and enjoying themselves. Horse drawn carriages that looked as if the had come from a Cinderella story.

We visited Krakow in the summer for three days with 6 year old son. Spent numerous hours in the main square and found it enchanting. Lots of activity, history and charm. It's a touristy place but still some old world charm here. We enjoyed a horse drawn carriage ride as well.

So close from the hotel! Very impressed! Wasn't happy with the restaurants - we arrived to Cracow at 9pm till we got to town all restaurants were closed and we ended up in Bobby's burger :/ it's a shame that all kitchens are closed at 9.30pm

Well worth a visit, lovely architecture to see. Lots of atmosphere. Plenty of little cafes to spend time in. Some nice shops too. Two churches to visit on the square.

Beautiful! The markets are lovely and you can see a lot of traditional Polish clothing and food places. The staff at the souvenir shops were lovely and helpful
