This beautiful tower sits right in the heart of the old town square, right next to the cloth hall. It is possible to climb to the top in the summer time

Cool site with a lot of importance to the city of Krakow. Not only that you have a great atmosphere set by the street performers playing at the gate.

Well worn a visit to see the architecture of the gate and the old city walls. The area has a nice feel to it, brightened by the huge collection of paintings for sale.

In terms of city gates, this one is exactly the most majestic, biggest or anything like that. What's fascinating is that it is still standing in it's original form. It's nice to see an Eastern European city that wasn't completely destroyed during the wars.
