Was really looking forward to an evening in a friendly Irish atmosphere but we were faced with a smokey room and so many people sat at the bar you cannot access it, girl behind the bar did not speak very good English, did not even finish our drinks and came out stinking like an ashtray although sat in the back... This pub could be so much better,it has about 4 bars with TV in each great for watching Rugby. On entering the main bar it was so smoky,no one stops people smoking, the bar bar staff are rude and are like zombies, and there is not enough staff so I suppose that's the reason why. England were playing Ireland and was... More

Visited here on a Friday night simply because it was an Irish bar... was initially looking forward to it but when we went in, it was basically a standard bar with a few Guinness pumps, an odd sign and a few slogans. No Irish music, no Irish landlord so basically, it wasn't an Irish pub. Lager was flat and warm,... More

Watched the Euros in this pub over the weeks holiday, good atmosphere people friendly and easy to talk to, everyone singing football chants was great. Downstairs there is a big pool table and a bar which is surprising how big it is down there. We stayed for a few hours but had to keep going outside as the whole place... More

Great location and near our hotel. Can be a bit noisy but you expect that at the weekend. No problem getting the drinks we wanted. Met quite a few people in their and it was lovely.

Friendly, very helpful staff who are great craic. Shane and Dave kept the beer and music flowing late into the night. Good choice of beer and a cracking pint of Guiness. The drinking crew were a great mix of locals and tourists. Hi to Brian! A good crowd go back each year. Hugely recommended. We went there for at least... More
