What a great view Slovakia/Poland border at the top of the mountain. Undisturbed natural snow trekking. Beautiful simple houses all the way.

What a great view. From Shetland ponies to hot wine, at 10 thousand feet up you can't ask for much more. Lot of Christmas vendor's. Sleigh rides, with polish traditional dress. A must see

Arriving in Poprad we decided to stay at the hotel next to the railway station but it would have been better to have found a hotel in Stary Smokovec. The train from Poprad only takes 30 min and you are right in the mountain area....More

In Slovakia the airport is in Poprad, which is just few km from mountains. In Poland you can fly to Kraków and from this city take a bus to Zakopane (about 2 hours). On Polish side Zakopane is the most popular and the best... More
