About 7 buildings spread around a large field. Lots of equipment and a leaflet gives you the necessary information in Polish and English. There is a picnic area if you want a rest. Plenty of parking but also a short cycle ride form downtown.

We visited the Skansen yesterday on our way to Bialowieza, it is definitely worth stopping by. You'll get to see how people used live in this part of Poland. Having spent my childhood in Podlasie it also brings many nostalgic memories.

We came here during à rainy day. The Skansen is small but quite instructive to learn to know the former Bialowieza way of living. Recommended

This is a nice place for history lovers. The others will not be amazed. Downside is that there is no guide available onsite.

This open air museum is great to learn how people from the region lived before the industrial era. Try to come on a day when it is not too hot, and it is not raining since you may spend here even about two hours walking...More
