It's just a gate. Nothing more and nothing less. Hardly exciting. Since there are no guided tours of Szczecin, I can't tell you any more.

Not sure if it always has the scaffolding up? Wasn't brilliant. You can see other gates all over the city. Quick look if nearby that's it.

You will definitely come across the harbour gate when exploring in Szczecin. This is a lovely piece of architecture & worth the visit. It is now a cafe therefore you will be able to view from the inside as well.

The baroque Port Gate, built between 1725-1727, has some nice decor on its top. Historically also known as the Berlin Gate. This gate is a remnant of the historical fortification of the city. Sadly both this gate and the Royal gate don't get the love and attention I think they deserve as some historical landmarks. Still interesting to have a... More

This is one of those little bits of history that you should not miss, I am sorry that they have not restored it as it means a lot to the locals we spoke too

Really nothing special. No English introduction, nothing understandable, just an old gate. Don't expect too much.

You can enter there from the bottom, but in this moment inside is probably restaurant. Of course you can step closer to see what is written in front. This was a gate from the Prussia time, but Polish like it... More

Good to see another gate preserved. Pity it is locked and no good use is made of it. Lets hope it will find its new caretaker in near future.
