We went to Poland for a budget friendly holiday. It was a great choice for us. We all loved it. The long beach in Sopot did not disappoint, and except from the temperature being a little lower, the beach was just as good as any Mediterranean beaches.

We went in May end. The water was cold but it was amazingly sunny and kid loved the sand play and the park right beside it. This beach needs public shower facilities to be open in May itself, weather is conducive

Nice and large beach that stretches far. Nice that there are different areas with different prices for sunbeds/parasols. Nice that there are cheaper options available. Looks like prices can vary from day to day tho. The only negative is that the lifeguards did not speak English. One of the days the lifeguards drove past in a boat to say that there was no possibility of swimming, but did not explain why in English. Seemed to be several confused tourists.

This beach is beautiful, especially because if you are on the main area of the beach there is a view with trees on the left and a view of open water on the right. Walking out onto the pier (if that's what it's called) was lovely, and the area was very lively with people even on an October day. There are also loads of little stalls worth visiting if you walk into the square behind the beach.

Sopot is one of the Tricity towns - Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. The latter two lie directly on the Baltic sea so we took half a day excursion.
Sopot is considered main Polish beach town, but I found it pretty boring (at least in March). Beach is long and wide with golden sand. It was nice to have an hour walk, but I doubt I'd swim here even in summer season.

Great long beach for walking, jogging, photo shooting or just taking your time watching the sea and boats. But the sea Is quite dirty, sadly, And full of algae. If you want to swim, visit the Hel peninsula, it's much better.

We visited it in September and it was a bit drizzling and windy but it was full with people and we saw one man in swimsuit. Obviously it must be nicer in summer but we enjoyed it. Around are many restaurants or food stalls so it's good for the families with kids too.

ENG: Filth, dirt, the entire beach is covered in cigarette butts, broken glass from beer and vodka bottles, bottle caps are scattered everywhere, it's scary to walk barefoot. It's a shame that the city has such a revenue from taxes, yet the beaches aren't cleaned at all!

A lovely very long beach that stretches for around 15 km in total from Gdańsk to Gdynia with Sopot in between. There are loads of beach bars and restaurants serving burgers, pizza and local Polish foods as well as Fish & Chips ( Male Molo ) served the best! The sand is white and the sea is fresh, for the busy area’s lifeguards patrol and you may not swim past the bouys!
There are water sports available and we walked from Sopot to Gdynia Olawa through the waters edge and it took around 1 hour 30 mins.

The beach was nice, but it blown crazy a lot and you got sand in places you didn't think it was possible. The fun thing was that there actually came a beach seller who sold sugar spin(!). Must have been pretty good. The locals had a half-meter high windshield they put in the sand. I'm not sure how much it helped.
