Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I arrived in Sopot on the 1st of September, and it was a perfect time. The big crowds were gone, the weather was perfect, the beaches were clean, and Sopot itself was beautiful and relaxing. Just what I was looking for.

The beech has beautiful golden sand. The sea was full of seaweed but it didn't put people off paddling. Really nice area and very clean. Definitely worth a visit

The place is very wide and nice in order to take a beach walk. You can see the Baltic Sea and even sit down and have a pic nic. However I would not recommend getting in the water it is not quite clean and looks kind old black anyways.

A lovely very long beach that stretches for around 15 km in total from Gdańsk to Gdynia with Sopot in between. There are loads of beach bars and restaurants serving burgers, pizza and local Polish foods as well as Fish & Chips ( Male Molo ) served the best! The sand is white and the sea is fresh, for the busy area’s lifeguards patrol and you may not swim past the bouys!
There are water sports available and we walked from Sopot to Gdynia Olawa through the waters edge and it took around 1 hour 30 mins.

I don't understand how this beach can be so popular. The water is black and incredibly dirty, and only kids and a few daredevils swim in it. The beach itself is terribly crowded, you wait forever for everything and forget about sunbeds or umbrellas, you'll be glad if you can find a bit of space in the sand.

First time here. The longest wooden pier I think. A small city with its own attraction, which is the spas.

Gorgeous, sandy beach with many options for food and entertainment. We went a little off season and it was not crowded at all but I imagine that it would be a very popular spot in the summer months.

Even in October, the beach is a great place to walk around. Because we were in the off-season, everything appeared to be quiet. Some cafes and restaurants were open.
