Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awful!!! How they take your money for this 💩 is criminal!

We paid approx £70 for 7 people!
Do not waste your money!
Absolute trash!
The scariest part about it is the amount we paid!!

This place is a total con and should be shut down
If I could give a zero rating I would

Having read other reviews about the museum, we didn't know what to expect but decided to visit as we had nothing else to do. If this is supposed to be Sopot's answer to Madame Taussaud's museum, that is stretching the truth too far. It was more like "The Hammer House Of Horrors".

I Read the reviews before i went here so i was prepared dor the worst, that was why we went here as well. It was not the figures that disappointed me it was the fact that all These figures of Einstein, trump and famous persons was not there. I don’t know if it was because They were renovating but that was very disappointing because we looked so much forward to it. We only payed 15 zloty for students so that was not to bad. It was 20 zloty for adult. Would not reccomend.

There's no lifts available but you can leave prams with the receptionist below. Price is not that bad considering a varied collection of figures well-kept in themed hallways with lighting and sound effects to match. The place is small, we went in the morning so the kids had fun roaming around as there were few people with us. No other way out meant a second chance to see the gallery on your way back. Recommended.

Went to the wax museum with a group of friends, not expensive to get in about 20 zlotys. It had quite a few rooms with figures of varying likenesses. We had great fun posing with them all. Worth a visit.

So let's get the two things everybody seems to keep bringing up out the way. Yes, it is small. You could probably spend an hour in there max. This wasn't a problem for me because rather than walking round and coming to an exit the museum is more of a long, twisting walkway that you pass back through when done in order to leave, so I could take a second and closer look at all the models. And secondly, the waxworks are good but not perfect. The resemblances are very strong and while they were not the best in the world, they were pretty impressive. Off the top of my head there are around 40 waxworks.
I felt everything was nicely laid out and you can pose next to the models very easily. A nice variety of different stars and iconic figures were selected. Different snippets of music and sound effects play as you pass through the various sections which was a nice touch.
There are a few native TV stars in there that I did not know because I'm from England but I thought it was good to include a mix of international stars and Polish stars. Despite it being quite small I felt that there was a lot of space and it did not feel cramped in there; it was easy to take photos without other people getting into the frame.
The only confusing thing for us was when we asked the receptionist if there was a toilet and she said there was but 'hidden behind the red curtain'. We did indeed peel back a red velvety curtain about halfway through the museum which revealed what we presumed was a staff toilet as it had cleaning equipment stashed in there.
I'd say the USP of this place is that some obscure public figures were included such as the singer of Gangnam Style, David Guetta, the smallest man in the world, the man with the widest mouth in the world etc.
Would recommend to anyone, take your time in there and enjoy the atmosphere!

It rained for the few days we stayed in Sopot; with not many rainy day options we were hoping this would take an hour or two - Unfortunately this museum is small, 20 minutes at most and we did it twice to try get our monies worth!

Not at all suitable for people in wheelchairs. Had to manually lift the wheelchair one floor up. Wax figures of uneven quality. Some very good and some not at all recognisable. Rather small. 20 minutes more than enough. Not really worth the money.
